Gilroy is located at major crossroads for auto and truck traffic north and south, east and west. Cal-Train, originating in Gilroy, provides weekly commuter services to San Jose and San Francisco. Gilroy is conveniently located close to the following major international airports: San Jose, San Francisco, and Oakland. The South County Regional Airport is nearby and accommodates general aviation and light corporate aircraft. Bus service is available through the Santa Clara County Transit System and Greyhound at the Gilroy Train Depot.
